Privacy Policy
VASSIWA Industrial Society ("VASSIWA", "we", "us") collects the personal information you provide when you register as a member — including your name, email, phone number, and profile photo — and information generated by your use of the system, such as attendance and event registration records. We use this information solely to operate the Society's membership, attendance, and payment systems, and to communicate with you about your membership.
We do not sell your personal information. Access to your data within VASSIWA is restricted to authorized Staff, Board Members, and Super Admin, based on what each role genuinely needs to perform their duties.
Terms and Conditions
By creating a VASSIWA membership account, you agree to use the system honestly and only for your own membership activity. Attempting to access another member's data, impersonate another member, or interfere with the system's operation is prohibited and may result in suspension.
Payment & Refund Policy
Membership dues are payable annually or as a one-time lifetime fee, as selected at membership setup. Refund eligibility for cancelled or erroneous payments will be assessed by VASSIWA administration on a case-by-case basis. Full refund terms will be published here once the online payment system (PhonePe) is live.
Data Retention Policy
We retain membership, attendance, and payment records for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for financial and legal record-keeping.
Account Deletion Policy
You may request deletion of your account and personal data by submitting a Query through the Member Portal. Certain records (e.g. payment history) may be retained where required by law even after account deletion.
Cookie Policy
VASSIWA uses only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Third-Party Providers
VASSIWA uses Supabase (database, authentication, file storage) and, once connected, PhonePe (payment processing) to operate this system. Each provider processes data only as necessary to provide their respective service to VASSIWA.
